“Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart,
who will feed you on knowledge and understanding.”
(Jeremiah 3:15)
Silent shepherds are starving the sheep.”
– Wyatt
The verse above from Jeremiah is God’s plan for His church, to set over our congregations shepherds after His own heart. Instead, we now know a nation of silent shepherds and false prophets speaking “peace and safety” to a people who hunger for truth—even the hard truth. Many pastors aren’t addressing the world in which we live or teaching the soon rapture of the church and coming tribulation for the lost. Because of that, many believers don’t know what’s just around the corner. Sure, pastors are preaching good messages, pre-2020 sermons about the saving Jesus, the healing Jesus, and the loving Jesus. I’m for all of those, but why aren’t they preaching the soon-coming Jesus? What’s more important than the end is near?
Because it is such a frightening and controversial subject, most pastors intentionally avoid preaching it because the people don’t want to hear it. Some pastors genuinely don’t see what’s happening before their very eyes. For others, the topic is difficult to teach, so they just don’t. Whatever the reason, the sheep are starving while being given good grain. This year’s sheep must be fed and strengthened to walk in this year’s field. Christians must be told that our time is nearly up, or else they won’t feel the urgency to speak to their lost friends and family. For most who claim the name of Christ, they would want to know.
If you attend a church where the pastor is shying away from current events, or even worse, is supporting the narrative that would suggest that we Christians shut up and go along with the fear-mongering satanic agenda that’s attempting to beat us into submission, then I suggest you find online resources, men of God who boldly teach the saving, healing, loving, AND coming Jesus. How else will you grow into a fully-fed sheep of God’s pasture who can, in turn, feed his fellow sheep?
I have had to seek out truth-tellers online to keep me strengthened, encouraged, and challenged. The sources I watch and allow to teach me have a heart for God’s prophetic Word and what God says through His Word—not their own. These are men and women who search out the scriptures and look for God’s promises through previous, present, and future prophecies. None are one hundred percent accurate; man can never be when trying to interpret such a vast topic as prophecy. I listen to a host of people who agree to disagree on minor issues, ones who do not compromise the Gospel of salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus.
Warning: While seeking truth and venturing out to find new sources of information, you must pray for discernment. If you get a check in your spirit while reading online content or while watching a pastor or teacher, that’s likely the Spirit’s warning. Be wary of any of the so-called “prophets” who are proclaiming that God has told them this or that. I’ve encountered others online who are so far out there that I’ve had to discontinue watching them. I’m not saying you shouldn’t listen to online videos where people are sharing rapture dreams and visions; God does speak to His people through various means. Just be discerning of those claiming to be a voice for God. Especially during the election, I heard too many false prophets make predictions that didn’t come to pass. God’s Word is clear: When that happens, they are not speaking for Him and they are not credible sources.
You may find some of the following sources are better suited for your learning style than others. Once you settle on your favorites, visit their sites often to stay current on ever-changing world happenings.
This link has over a dozen videos from some of the most notable pre-trip rapture pastors and teachers. Many of these pastors are unfamiliar to me, but many you’ll recognize.
Pastor JD Farag

I can’t say enough good about this man’s bold teaching or recommend him highly enough. Pastor JD is warm and encouraging even as he presents such difficult truths about the world in which we live. Pastor JD has a vast library of a variety of topics under the Prophecy Updates tab. He spends hours vetting his sources and doing his best to provide accurate information to the best of his ability. Also, he has wonderfully insightful Bible Sermons. Each video has links to the sources he mentions, and the sermon in its entirety is transcribed into a PDF that you can read.

Dr. David Jeremiah

I have listened to Dr. Jeremiah teach on prophecy and the rapture for nearly twenty years. I was listening to his radio sermons when I decided to follow the Lord in a serious walk of faith, so his ministry will ever be close to my heart. I haven’t watched any of his recent sermons, but I know he is always a safe source for last-days and prophetic information. He has tons of books on the subject of the rapture and end-time prophecy.

Rapture Ready
RaptureReady.com
This site has a vast listing of articles, op-eds, and teachings by various writers and contributors. I have read articles on this site, but do not know much about it. I just noticed a Glossary of last-days terms that might be helpful for you if this is a new topic for you. Note: I didn’t look through every term, so I can’t say that I agree with everything published on this site. I mention again: There are countless differing views on minor issues across prophecy teaching. Always keep that in mind when reading through any and all sites.

**I recommend you read this informative overview of the pre-tribulation rapture doctrine.
I have read some interesting articles and perspectives on this site, especially in 2020. I hadn’t visited the site in many months until I went to copy the material below. I had forgotten the wide array of topics they cover. I think you will find plenty of information to give you prophetic understanding.
From their site:
“Unsealed.org features world news, Christian news, and prophecy updates, all pointing to the imminent return of Jesus Christ and the end of the age. Our name comes from Revelation 22:10, which says “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.” We believe that mankind is now living in the final generation before Jesus returns and the signs are obvious. The prophetic words contained in the Bible are being unsealed before our very eyes.”
Dr. David Reagan, Lamb & Lion Ministries
ChristianProphecy.org
I believe Pastor Reagan may be retired now, but you will still find his resources online. Many years ago, when I first developed an interest in last-days prophecy, Dr. Reagan was one of the few online resources I found who faithfully taught on the rapture and coming tribulation. I haven’t read much from his site these past years, but I believe it would be a good source of material if you are interested.
About Dr. Reagan:
“Dr. David R. Reagan founded Lamb & Lion Ministries on April 1, 1980.
Dr. Reagan is a native Texan who resides in a suburb of Dallas. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Texas in Austin. His graduate degrees were earned in the field of International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy of Tufts and Harvard Universities…” Read more.
Lamb & Lion Ministies:
“Nature & Purpose
Lamb & Lion Ministries was founded in 1980 as a non-denominational, independent ministry. The Ministry does not seek to convert people to any particular church. Rather, it seeks to lift up Jesus and draw people to Him as Lord and Savior.
The Ministry was established for the purpose of proclaiming the soon return of Jesus. We do not believe it is possible to know the date when Jesus will return. But we do believe it is possible to know the season of the Lord’s return, and it is our conviction that we are living in that season…” Read more.
