I heard a pastor say recently, “If the Pope isn’t the False Prophet of Revelation 13, he’s sure trying to get the job.” We can’t know if he will be the False Prophet since we who will be celebrating the supper of the Lamb will be in heaven, but we can look at the man’s actions and consider his words. Any man, especially a “religious” leader who disputes the inerrancy of the Word of God, is greatly in error and cannot be trusted to point seekers to God.
